Alewerks Brewing Company

Alewerks Brewing Company, voted the best brewery in the state of Virginia (2014) by!

Established in August of 2006, Alewerks Brewing Company is proud to be part of the Williamsburg community. They hit the ground running with their Tavern Ale, an award winning American Brown Ale, which is still part of their year round collection today. Alewerks continually strives to bring the best craft beers possible to the market, and their many awards and accolades are a testament to that goal. Offering six beers year round, three seasonal beers, and a wide variety of specialty and Brewer’s Choice beers there is always something unique on tap. Alewerks collaborated with Colonial Williamsburg to create two historic brews that can be found exclusively in Colonial Williamsburg. Award winning beers such as the Café Royale and the Bitter Valentine set Alewerks apart as a leader in Virginia craft brewing.

Visit the newly expanded taproom and store and experience the friendly and knowledgeable staff who thrive on educating the public about all things beer. Bring a growler and get some fresh from the tap beer to enjoy at home. There are plenty of growler options and other beer related merchandise and apparel to choose from.
