The Damascus brewery is a nanobrewery located in Damascus, Virginia that focuses on high quality small batch beers. The brewmaster and owner, Adam Woodson, is a biochemist that loves innovation and the art of designing new beers.
As of this publication, they make 23 different kinds of beer which can be sampled in their tasting room on their eight rotating taps. Their most popular “Beaver Rage IPA” is known as the IPA for people who don’t like IPAs because of it’s hoppy, yet not bitter, flavor and is distributed in seven restaurants in the Bristol area.
The brewery slogan “Raising Ale Along The Trail” is in reference to both the Appalachian Trail and the Virginia Creeper Bike Trails that run through the town of Damascus and play an integral role in the outdoor lifestyle vibe of the town. The brewery hosts live music every Saturday night and is a great place to meet other outdoor enthusiasts that have come to the town to kayak, mountain bike, or hike in the area.
Come to Damascus and enjoy the best beer on earth in one of the coolest outdoor towns on earth!
